Fresh preparation
Continuous dewatering machine
Remove surface water from washed and cut vegetables so the next packing, drying or freezing stage receives a defined product condition.

- StainlessFood-contact parts
| Function | Centrifugal or vibration dewatering of washed and cut product |
|---|---|
| Handoff | Defined surface-water condition for packing, drying or freezing |
| Configuration | Capacity and basket or deck size set per product |
How it works
Product passes through a rotating basket or across a vibrating deck where centrifugal force or vibration sheds surface water. The discharge moisture level is defined with you so the downstream stage is predictable.
Selection notes
- Fragile leaves may need gentler vibration instead of a centrifugal basket.
- Agree the acceptable residual moisture and how it will be checked on site.
- Plan drainage collection and cleaning access under the machine.
Dewatering FAQ
Why is dewatering important?
Centrifugal or vibration?
Does it replace drying?
Applications
- Washed and cut vegetables before packing
- Salad dewatering before MAP
- Pre-freeze surface-water removal
- Post-wash drainage in fresh-cut lines

Process reference
The ranges below are industry reference values used for initial sizing; final settings are fixed by product trial and the acceptance criteria in the quotation.
| Mechanism | Centrifugal (≈1,400–1,500 rpm class) or vibratory dewatering |
|---|---|
| Result | Defined residual surface moisture before packing, drying or freezing |
| Capacity reference | 500–1,500 kg/h depending on product and target moisture |
| Product protection | Speed and feed controlled to limit bruising |
Ordering checklist
- Product and fragility
- Required residual moisture
- Centrifugal or vibration preference
- Drainage and cleaning access
From order to delivery
Confirm the specification
Model, capacity, utilities and documents are fixed in the quotation.
Manufacture and test
The machine is built with progress photos and a test run before packing.
Pack for export
Export crating protects the machine for container shipment.
Install and train
Engineer dispatch, commissioning and operator training are available as a standard service.
Selection inputs
- Product and incoming condition
- Target output and operating schedule
- Utilities, water and available footprint
- Finished condition and downstream handoff
Choose centrifugal or vibration by product fragility and the residual moisture the next stage can accept.
