How it works
Bubble action separates and suspends loose contamination while product moves through the tank; vortex or spray stages add directed surface rinsing. Each stage is assigned one clear duty, so a line can combine several mechanisms instead of forcing one washer to do everything.
Selection notes
- Root vegetables need soil removal, impact control and peel handling; leafy greens need gentle movement and floatation control.
- Water renewal, residence time and discharge elevation must be reviewed against the required cleaning result.
- Specify water quality, supply, drainage and the downstream feed state before fixing the layout.

Process reference
The ranges below are industry reference values used for initial sizing; final settings are fixed by product trial and the acceptance criteria in the quotation.
| Washing mechanisms | Bubble (flotation and overflow), vortex (≥3 m/s), spray and brush rollers |
|---|---|
| Water management | Filtration and recirculation options; fresh-cut industry water use ≈2–11 m³/t with reuse lowering fresh-water demand |
| Optional disinfection | Ozone with controlled residual (QB/T 5218-2018) or chlorine-based per local regulation |
| Residence and renewal | Set per soil load, product fragility and target cleanliness |
Ordering checklist
- Crop and incoming soil load
- Required wash result and damage tolerance
- Target output and operating schedule
- Water supply, renewal and drainage basis
From order to delivery
Confirm the specification
Model, capacity, utilities and documents are fixed in the quotation.
Manufacture and test
The machine is built with progress photos and a test run before packing.
Pack for export
Export crating protects the machine for container shipment.
Install and train
Engineer dispatch, commissioning and operator training are available as a standard service.
Selection inputs
- Product and incoming condition
- Target output and operating schedule
- Utilities, water and available footprint
- Finished condition and downstream handoff
Select the wash mechanism by soil type and product fragility rather than by nominal capacity alone.
